Greetings all!       

I am writing to you from my new home on rainbow lake in Connecticut .  I don’t get here too often so it is nice to have a few days to myself.  The last few weeks have been a roller coaster of travel, ups and downs, exhaustion ... all of life.  I feel so much… all that there is in the circle of life … joy, grief, anger, shame, and back again.  The world is on a wild ride … so much to feel in to.  Have you been on the ride?  The energy will be deep the next few weeks so flow with it.  The best part is no matter where I am … shadow or light… I am learning to accept myself.   Its ok to be where ever I am.  I am grateful for this moment.   There is joy, lightness, and even a laugh with all of it.  Sometimes it can all seem so heavy and serious.  How about some fun this week… so off I go to have some.  How are you doing on the journey?  Where are you?   Let me know…. And on to this months message….

After our retreat of a few weeks ago, I do feel, even with the challenges of life, a deeply renewed spirit and direction.   The circle has been reborn in me.  I remember how important ‘we’ are.  I remember that spirit created the circle of community for a reason.  We do indeed need each other.  Without ‘we’ there is isolation, struggle, fear.  The old paradigm of the leader was a person, a boss, an individual.  The new way is a group, a community of individuals who work together to create an environment where we all succeed so much more  … through support and cooperation … and help our world transform.  When I think back on my life’s highest moments have always been in community… groups, gatherings, teams, events, ceremony, trainings.  I do love my personal time and meditative time.  This fills me.  Yet, when I really look at what deepens me, I love the circle.  This is ‘where the gift is’ and where our world is evolving to, as I see it.   I bet this is true for you too.   Think back.   What have been your greatest moments?   Time with family, friends, teams, groups, helping someone, inspiring, the birth of your child, etc.???   In this months message, I encourage you to read and ponder a quote I wrote 7 years ago (below) with a friend (updated, edited a bit today), and a piece called ‘don’t stop, keep playing’ (next email) and reflect on what is community to you?  Do you need it?  Or are you still going at it along… thinking you are Atlas?  How are you participating and prospering with community?  Have you found your community?  

Here is how someone dear at the retreat put it.   I close my eyes and I see the circle. It travels with me everywhere. As I make decisions, deal with challenges, look into my daughter's eyes, it is there. That love and support and focused intention created through our joining in the circle energizes me, guides me and clears the muddy waters.  Thank you each in turn for sharing your magnificence with me while allowing me to share mine.

The Power of Community to Support our Life Journey

In true community our practice is to hold a sacred space for each other to share deeply and authentically what we feel and what we need, no matter what it is.

We agree: 

To have the opportunity to speak and be heard …

To be helped… not criticized…

To gain support from each other in accomplishing our life purpose, more swiftly then we could otherwise…

And mostly through this community love and support ...

We transmute any hurt, blame, judgment, and lower self consciousness in our way into the realization that every issue and upset that arises is the perfect opportunity at the perfect time to heal and take the next step in our spiritual evolution - to know everything is taking us to the highest most loving state of consciousness. We declare that we will accept those parts inside that are hurting. We forgive one another.  We help each other.  We release the pain and embrace love in its place. We live in courage, compassion and truth.

This path is what sets our soul free and keeps us together as one in Spirit’s peace.  This way we grow, learn and become our true selves.  This way we can accomplish 10 times more in half the time, for our families and our world.  This way the new world is invited in.  We indeed need each other. We are indeed the ones we have been waiting for. We are the Messiah generation. The new world of community.
